So, you’re ready to venture out into the world of fonts, huh?
Selecting fonts is one of my
guilty biggest pleasures for some reason. I geek out on words and fonts…..it’s just a part of myself I’ve learned to accept!
I understand, though, that many people haven’t ventured out into this uncharted territory. Once you jump in the water, you find that it’s DEEP. There are a LOT of fonts out there! Where does one begin?
If you have never tried your hand at putting fonts together, and don’t know where to start, I’ve got some news for you. First of all, you’re not alone. Second of all, there’s PLENTY of help out there! You’ve found a pretty good starting place!
I’ve put together a 2-part video series to help you navigate these waters so you don’t drown in all of it. Like I said, it’s a vast sea!
Video #1 is all about learning more about the different types of fonts and how to combine them into eye-pleasing matches. In Video #2, I show you two great tools that will allow you to try your hand at pairing fonts to see what feels best to you and captures the essence of your brand.
There are resources below each video, as promised in the videos. So take a look and remember that there are tons of resources online for helping you find your killer font combo!
